Peppermint-Sugar Lip Scrub
peppermint lip scrub-4.jpg

For the Sephora-obsessed person on your list, or really anyone, because, hello! winter is dry-lip season. This all-natural lip scrub is perfect for exfoliating dry lips and is made with pantry ingredients. This is a good project for non-bakers as it requires no oven time at all.

This is simply a mixture of coconut oil and sugar, plus a bit of peppermint extract which gives this holiday vibes. I like to use refined coconut oil here, and in baking, because it doesn’t give off an overpowering coconut taste. Other good flavour combinations would be to substitute brown sugar for granulated sugar and add rum or coffee extract instead of peppermint.

You may make this as a gift, but you’ll want to make one for yourself too!

I went on Avery’s website to design the labels and used size #2374 labels. Download and print mine below or make your own.
